Hollywood Hills Evacuation Exercise Town Hall

  • 2035 North Highland Avenue Los Angeles, CA, 90068 United States (map)

The Los Angeles Fire Department, along with all our partners in public safety, will conduct a large-scale drill, simulating an emergency disaster in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday, November 16th. Residents who live in the Hollywood Hills West, Hollywood United, and Los Feliz Neighborhood Council areas are invited to participate in the exercise. LAFD has already identified a block or two in each Neighborhood Council area where residents will receive 'knocks on doors' from law enforcement officials telling them to voluntarily evacuate. All other residents can participate by evacuating to the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood (evacuation center) where emergency responders will review the strengths and weaknesses of the disaster simulation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to get resources and information booths from various departments and organizations.

In preparation of the evacuation exercise, LAFD is holding two town hall meetings where residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the exercise in November and ask questions about emergency preparedness. See below for locations, dates, and times.
